Xiaomi launches the Xiaomi 18 Fold in China with a 7.58-inch inner display, Leica cameras, a 6,000mAh battery and Xring O3 chip. Xiaomi has launched the Xiaomi 18 Fold in China, putting a 7.58-inch inner screen, Leica cameras, a 6,000mAh battery and Xiaomi's 3nm Xring O3 chip into its first wide-format foldable. MacRumors reports that prices start at 10,999 yuan, or about $1,638, while Xiaomi's Chinese shop listing confirms the product is being sold in its home market. Xiaomi 18 Fold brings a wide screen and Leica cameras The Xiaomi 18 Fold has a 5.38-inch outer display and a 7.58-inch inner display. Both use 120Hz LTPO panels with peak brightness of up to 4,000 nits, according to MacRumors. Xiaomi says its Dragon Bone hinge went through 492 structural optimisations, with four finishes including Nishino Red and a limited Ceramic Special Edition. The rear camera system pairs a 200-megapixel main sensor with 50-megapixel ultrawide and 50-megapixel periscope telephoto cameras. The telephoto lens offers 3.5x optical zoom, while the camera system was developed with Leica. Xiaomi 18 Fold price and UAE availability The base Xiaomi 18 Fold has 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The range rises to 14,999 yuan, about $2,235, for the 16GB/1TB model. The limited Ceramic Special Edition costs 15,999 yuan, about $2,384. The phone has a 6,000mAh battery with 67W wired and 50W wireless charging. Xiaomi says the Xring O3 uses a 3nm process, with a 10-core CPU and 16-core GPU. The chip is also used in the Xiaomi Pad 9 Pro Max announced at the same event.
