Jennifer Lawrence spills on real 'Hunger Games' stunts
Jennifer Lawrence spoke about her non-CGI stunts.
The Oscar-winning actress first starred as Katniss Everdeen in the 2012 action movie, The Hunger Games, and continued appearing as the same character for three more movies in the Hunger Games franchise, including The Hunger Games: Catching Fire (2013), The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1 (2014), and The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2 (2015).
Now, in an episode of Call Her Daddy with Alex Cooper, Jennifer recalled a dangerous stunt involving fireballs during filming of the action movie: 'There was a scene where I'm running down a mountain, and there are, like, fireballs being fired at me and none of it was CGI,' the star shared.
Further revealing how 'everything really was exploding and catching on fire.'
Noting, 'If you strayed away from your trail, which is not clear because if they, you know, put red tape or something you'll see it.'
'So you just kind of have a general idea of, like, where to go and like if you're wrong you will blow up,' the Hollywood star added.
It is pertinent to mention here that Jennifer is set to revisit her iconic character in the upcoming Hunger Games film, Sunrise on the Reaping, which is set to be released on November 20, 2026.
However, alongside Jennifer, Josh Hutcherson and Woody Harrelson will also return in their respective roles.
'It was so emotional. Josh [Hutcherson] and I didn't walk to the bathroom without our arms around each other. It was so beautiful,' Jennifer said about her reunion with former co-stars.
