Lautaro Martínez, the striker and captain of Inter Milan, has revealed details of his conversation with compatriot Julián Alvarez, amid the tough period the Atlético striker is experiencing after his failed move to FC Barcelona during the recent transfer window. Lautaro Martínez, during the press conference ahead of Inter's match against Real Madrid in the UEFA Champions League, said: "I spoke to him and sent him a message showing my support. Aside from the fact that we share a position and compete for a place in the national team, he is a friend of mine." He added: "The moment he has gone through and is going through is not easy, but the decision is up to his club and the club president."
