Kayani highlights private sector's role in economic growth Minister of State for Finance Bilal Azhar Kayani says the private sector is a key contributor to tax collection, employment generation and economic growth. Speaking at the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry today, he said the Prime Minister has remained closely engaged with the business community, and its recommendations have been incorporated into the federal budget. Bilal Azhar Kayani said the Super Tax on exporters and the Export Development Surcharge have been abolished, while the chairmanship of the Export Development Fund has been entrusted to the private sector.
