Al-Mahwit Emergency Committee Discusses Disaster Preparedness

Al-Mahwit (Saba) – The Emergency Committee in Al-Mahwit Governorate, in its meeting today chaired by the Secretary-General of the Local Council, Dr. Ali Al-Zaykum, discussed the level of preparedness and readiness to confront any potential emergencies or disasters resulting from floods and rains, as well as precautionary measures to mitigate damage. The meeting reviewed urgent priorities and the procedures that must be implemented to avoid potential damage, especially in areas and facilities located in floodplains and water catchment areas.
