Marvel Rivals has had a pretty impressive output ever since it started releasing a new hero every month. Many thought it would be a ridiculous amount of work to put on the dev team, along with coming up with new maps, skins, and everything else that players have come to expect, along with balancing a game with so many characters.
With the upcoming release of Season 10 on the horizon, many expected the season to be no different, with both Gorr and Nightcrawler seemingly leaked as potential characters via datamines. Unfortunately, it seems as though NetEase hasn't been able to maintain it's "one character every month" promise, and has revealed that Season 10 will have just the one nw character addition.
This disappointing news was announced by creative director Guanggunag in the latest Dev Vision update. In the video, Guangguang explains that Season 10 will focus on adding the previously rumored Gorr the God Butcher as a new character, as well as a new map. Instead of a new character in Season 10.5, Rivals will focus on Phase 3 and Phase 4 of the Path to Doomsday events.
