MYRTLE CREEK MAN JAILED FOR REPORTED DISORDERLY CONDUCT INCIDENTS

September 8, 2026 9:40 a.m. A Myrtle Creek man was jailed for reported disorderly conduct incidents on Sunday night. A Douglas County Sheriff's Office report said just before 9:00 p.m. approximately four people over the course of two hours had reported that a 37-year-old was going door to door at a trailer park in the 100 block of North Old Pacific Highway in the Myrtle Creek area telling people they needed to leave or they were doing to die. A deputy contacted the suspect who admitted to being under the influence of methamphetamine and potentially in a drug psychosis state of mind. The suspect was shown that there was no one after him trying to kill him and that he was clearly seeing things which were not there. The man was told to not knock on anyone else's door alarming them of being killed. After an hour after leaving the area, the man allegedly went back to screaming in the trailer park causing alarm to multiple residents there. The suspect was taken into custody and charged with second-degree disorderly conduct. He was detained without bail.
