Kuzey Kıbrıs Türk Cumhuriyeti'nde (KKTC) Girne açıklarında batan "Filo Jet" isimli yolcu gemisi sonrası KKTC Meteoroloji Dairesi Müdürü Sinan Güneş'in görevine son verildi. Filo Jet faciası nedeniyle görevden alınanların sayısı 6'ya yükseldi.
