Physical Tests Begin for 551 Police Constable Posts in Gwadar

Independent Report GWADAR , Sept 7: Physical tests for recruitment to 551 police constable positions in Gwadar have commenced, with male and female candidates appearing for running tests along the city's coastline as officials pledged to conduct the recruitment process transparently and strictly according to prescribed rules. A large number of applicants took part in the physical assessment conducted under the Balochistan government's recruitment policy, demonstrating their fitness, speed and physical ability against the required standards. DIG Crime Branch Quetta Hameed Khosa, SSP Gwadar Atta-ur-Rehman Khan Tareen, AIG Welfare SP Tahir Mustafa, DSP Chakar Baloch and Major Saad of 68 Wing FC, along with other senior officials, monitored the testing process. Officials said every stage of recruitment would be carried out in accordance with established procedures, with merit and transparency serving as the basis for selection of eligible and capable candidates. They said all applicants would be treated fairly and that recruitment decisions would be made solely on the basis of the applicable eligibility and physical criteria. The officials said the recruitment drive would help increase police manpower in Gwadar and enhance the professional capacity of the force to protect the lives and property of citizens.
