GREENVILLE, S.C. — More than 80 people were arrested Friday night following a street takeover in South Carolina. Deputies with the Greenville County Sheriff's Office said the street takeover took place at the intersection of Locust Hill Road and Fairview Road around 11:30 p.m. Investigators said they discovered numerous illegal activities, including burnouts and roadway closures. According to deputies, 80 adults and multiple juveniles were arrested, 38 vehicles were impounded and 10 firearms were recovered. Deputies said everyone who was arrested was charged with aiding and abetting street takeover. The sheriff's office said the investigation is ongoing and additional charges could be added.
