Hawk calls, glides 'cross sky, hunts on the wing. An ache awakens, a longing, a cool, cool wind. Thoughts stir memory. A change, a change is gonna come.♥️
Every breath we have the opportunity to become again.
Every new moon the 1000-petaled lotus flower cup of our crown chakra empties, bereft of life giving nectar.
We die, only to be reborn, only to awaken fresh eyes, to see a new view.
In these past two weeks Dolly, Gloria, Cassandra* cross into the away, leave us to fill-in where their bodies once lead. Throughout their lives these women sang the stories, penned opinions for equal pay & for a say, infused the air with divine timbre, natural rhythm.
These women left grace notes in their wake; little lighthouses to navigate distorted masculine in cahoots with disabled feminine - both prevalent on Mother Earth from time to time.
Now is the time to gather inspiration from their lives.
Now is the time for us to lift toward togetherness, to mitigate war, to guard rail generative artificial intelligence, to lower our demand, to cry 'NO!' from the tree tops.
Bombs crush generations, AI aggresses, feeds the hungry ghosts. Hunger for more devours fields, gobbles water, poisons air, pushes ecosystems out for the minerals in the subterranean underbellies.
Our gumption can stop ecocide, diffuse bombs, protect kids. We have role models throughout history as well as now; role models who give voice, exude compassion, exercise rights such as voting, standing, being.
Let's follow in their footsteps soon & now for so much is on the line.
Sarah Connor in 'The Terminator' movies arcs from mom to warrior.
Our journeys echo hers now as the world tempers us, invites us into a woking process, widens our gaze, reminds us to watch our backs, to look up from our phones.
This week many of us go quiet; see planes crashing, towers falling, hear 'let's roll…' in a collage of memories. Many of us sink into the dust bursting shock of September 11th, 2001, a day that changed us.
Same, same but different from the way a Tibetan bedrock failure & hanging glacier collapse changed us on the morning of August 26th, 2026. That event caused a 300' wall of slurry to barrel down a narrow river valley into Nepal.
In a flash thousands of souls perished.
Let us pray for Mother Earth in quietude.
Prayers with no words, rituals real - like making your morning cuppa.

I chose this picture for the mystery: the permanence, the transience, the feminine, the masculine, the stone, the life.

Alpine lake, feminine flow held by sacred masculine bedrock, tundra, moss. Pyrogenic, fuchsia fireweed pushing into blossom, Sun giving life.

I chose this image because female creative energy waves through her gesture - exalted but also held close. She's juxtaposed with storm clouds, high yet humid. Within it all I sense undertones of Jazz artist, *Cassandra Wilson, whom we lost this past Sept. 1st.

Monday, September 7th- Luna labored into Leo & Sun semi-sextiled Jupiter on Labor Day!Oh yeah…
Tuesday, September 8th- Luna in Leo, all day long.Savor the sunset.
Wednesday, September 9th- Luna void-of-course from 2:58pm to 3:35pm. Then she readies to conjunct Sun in Virgo for the…
Thursday, September 10th- New Moon, 11:27pm, 18°, 25' Virgo(> 1st Q)
A word on this New Moon & the surrounding phenomena:
Virgo & Capricorn influence us now. We may feel it in our digestive & nervous systems, our knees, our teeth, our bones. So much happens in a span of hours too: a season morphs, 2 planets change sign, the space cowboy, a.k.a. Uranus, stations retrograde. As the numbers would have it, Sept. 10th is an 11 day(if you are on or west of EDT.)Elevens are gateways & offer clear passages, promote forward movement.
The fine print(& we are still on Sept. 10th, people) ~
Venus enters Scorpio, 4:07am(Leaving Libra, a place in which she rules & will retrograde back into in a few weeks.)
Mercury Enters Libra, 12:21pm(Leaving his exaltation in Virgo.)
Then with a poet's flareMercury semi-sextiles Venusat 5:30pm, which may feel somewhat off in your relationship space.
Uranus retrogrades, 2:27pmBig stuff. We may feel Uranian labyrinths, webs & mazes within & until February 2027. Uranus will stay in Gemini that whole period of retrograde & for another few years. Also, given that Mercury relates to our minds, our nervous systems, our comms. (that's groovy-speak for communications,)we may mo' definitely go berserk. So, we got that goin' for us. Yeah sure, you betcha.
Okay, onto the next day:
Friday, September 11th- Luna leaves Virgo at 1:52am & arrives in Libra at 7:52pm.18-hour long dream time while Luna transits between Virgo's mutable earth & Libra's cardinal air.
Yes & let us pause for a moment of reverence, for this is the 25th anniversary of 9/11, which also featured a lunar transit from Taurus into Gemini, all those years ago.
Rosh Hashanah begins at sundown.
Saturday, September 12th- Luna in Libra
Mercury trine Pluto 11:59amHarmonious release (?)
Mercury opposes Neptune 12:38pmProceed cautiously as your mind may play tricks on you. Likewise, you may have a massive intuitive hit that helps you solve the secrets of the universe, but then you might second guess yourself. If all else fails try an aimless wander, a sacred nap or an açai bowl.
Sunday, September 13th- Luna in Libra then beginning at 10:27am void-of-course until the next day.(9/14 at 2:44am Luna arrives in Scorpio, her fall.)
Mercury trine Uranus, 10:40pmThe trinehelps bring mind & our inner-wilderness together. With Uranus having just cha-cha-cha'ed into retrograde this may feel somewhat loopy. For real…
I appreciate your being here & my Llewellyn ephemeris & aspectarian support too.
Yours in carrying the light,
Mary-L.♥️
