Harry Styles pays emotional tribute to Dolly Parton during MSG concert Harry Styles is the latest celebrity to pay tribute to renowned singer Dolly Parton. During his performance at Madison Square Garden on Wednesday, the 32-year-old singer took a moment to pay a heartfelt tribute to the late singer. 'I wanna say a proper 'Thank you' to all the musicians over the years that've inspired me," Harry told audience. "Dolly, we love you, thank you so much,' the former One direction member said to screaming supporters as the arena filled with cheers. Later, Dolly's hit track, I Will Always Love You, began to play. For those unaware, Dolly died on Tuesday, August 25, after a brief battle with cancer. She was 80. 'Global icon and humanitarian, Dolly Parton, known to the world as a beloved singer, songwriter, philanthropist, actress, playwright and author died peacefully today in Nashville, Tennessee,' a spokesperson for the country singer said in a statement. 'A rhinestone life that shone bright enough for the world to see, Dolly will forever stand as an inspiration not only through her timeless music and prolific songwriting, but also her wit, warmth and kindness that made us all feel like family," a representative added.
