As such, players from both sides have been asked what they think of the country so far, with Australia receiving rave reviews. That said, Greenlaw had a geographical question that left reporters pondering just how well they remembered the world in relation to one continent to another. It comes after the 49ers received a boost ahead of their clash against the Rams. "OK, man, I had some things lined up. I had a lot of questions," he began. "Damn, I can't think of it off my head, man." Eventually, he had an epiphany and posed a question that left reporters in stitches — but also pondering their geographical knowledge. "But, I mean, it's just interesting being in another country," he added. "Like, I mean, how far are we from Antarctica? That's what I got to ask, yeah. So, like, I mean, we're, like, right on top of it, huh? "Like, does it snow? [in Australia]." It's colder than Antarctica? Y'all been there before? Never been there — so how you know if it's cold or not? OK," he concluded, leaving the press in the room laughing as he walked away. Earlier in the press conference, Greenlaw lauded Australia and the different way of life he's been able to experience. "Man, it is, like you said, it's beautiful," he said. ‌ "Yeah, the weather, I mean, you might get four seasons in one day ... it's just pretty, man. I mean, the people here are great people. Just everybody's pretty friendly, and yeah, man, it's just beautiful, man. We took a couple walks, and great coffee, tried the coffee. "And yeah, the food here, it's really good, too. Got some good seafood and all that good stuff, so it's been solid." The 29-year-old has spent his entire career with San Francisco, from 2019 to 2024, before playing in the AFC West last season. Being back with a team he feels comfortable with, Greenlaw said it has been "great" to be back with the 49ers and explained what the experience of returning to the team and being in Australia was like. "Just being back with the guys and doing that in Australia — I mean, as a kid, you kind of, for me at least, I've kind of always wanted [to know] what Australia is like, you know what I mean?" he said. "So to be back with the guys and be somewhere where it's kind of like somewhere you never expect yourself to be, it's just kind of that God just puts you in these positions that you've never been in, but you just trust him. And he puts you exactly where you need to be, and I'm just thankful to be out here with the guys that I'm with."
