QUETTA, Aug 12 (APP):The Balochistan Revenue Authority (BRA) has intensified measures to ensure tax compliance among doctors, clinics, and medical service providers across the province.
Final notices have been issued to relevant practitioners and institutions, directing them to complete registration with BRA under the Balochistan Sales Tax on Services Act, 2015, and to strictly adhere to all legal requirements.
The notices emphasize timely filing of tax returns, payment of due taxes, and fulfillment of other statutory obligations.
BRA has made it clear that failure to comply within the stipulated timeframe will result in legal action under the provisions of the 2015 Act. Officials stressed that effective enforcement of tax laws, expansion of the tax net, transparency, and facilitation of taxpayers remain key priorities of the Government of Balochistan.
The Authority reiterated its expectation that all service providers will fully comply with the law, contributing to a fair, transparent, and strengthened provincial tax system.
