New Mexico State (+300 via DraftKings) vs. Hawaii For my final pick, I'm backing New Mexico State to win outright, despite being 9.5-point underdogs. New Mexico State went toe-to-toe with Florida State for the majority of its Week 0 contest, with Trey Hedden throwing for 272 yards and two touchdowns. Additionally, Hawaii is allowing 203 rushing yards per game. Now the Rainbow Warriors need to slow down an offense that ran for 235 yards last week. Granted, New Mexico State's performance came against Mercer, but it still showed that this offense is capable of a well-balanced attack led by Hedden and running back James Jones. Hawaii has also struggled offensively, managing just 4.10 yards per play. That ranks 121st in the nation.
