The attack occurred in Mfante-Asikam-Ashiaman, Ahafo Ano North Municipality. Ibrahim lives in Subriso. He stated that the incident followed a visit to a gold-refining center. He and his brother Ishmael took what they believed was genuine gold for processing. Workers at the facility determined it was fake gold and accused Ibrahim of armed robbery. Ishmael managed to escape, but workers allegedly captured Ibrahim. They covered his head with a sack and beat him severely. Ibrahim claims the owner of the refining machine, known as Coach, hit him with a large stick. Coach also allegedly pulled out a gun and threatened to kill him. Seeking justice, Ibrahim has appealed to several police authorities for an investigation. He reported the incident to Tepa Police Command but noted no arrests have been made. Ibrahim expressed concern over the lack of follow-up on his case. He insists that the assault and threats against him must be taken seriously.
