HIGH POINT — Federal funds initially slated for a proposed homeless care center in High Point are going to other uses. The city is reallocating $452,154 — most of which is CARES Act funds from the COVID-19 pandemic — toward rent and utility assistance for residents and resupplying nonprofit food pantries.
