SecureNet Solutions Group sued IBM alleging its Maximo products infringe 11 patents covering systems for collecting data from sensors and storage management.
IBM is willfully infringing the patents, SecureNet said in a Sept. 4 complaint in the US District Court for the Western District of Texas, pointing to conversations its predecessor had with IBM starting in 2009 and a written notice of infringement sent in March.
