According to ISPR, Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Naveed Ashraf reviewed the ongoing Sea Spark 2026 exercise. The exercise has been underway since September 1 and is designed to assess the Pakistan Navy's preparedness for a rapid transition from peacetime to wartime operations. ISPR said the exercise incorporates modern operational concepts in line with evolving warfare requirements, including the information environment and multi-domain operations. The extensive use of unmanned systems is also a key component of Sea Spark 2026. During the exercise, Admiral Naveed Ashraf met personnel participating in the drills and praised their professionalism, morale and operational preparedness. He commended the commitment and resolve of Pakistan Navy personnel to maintain an effective and resilient defense posture.
