Lucknow, September 8 (Daily Kiran) : The team behind the film 'Hanuman Ansh,' including its producer, director, and key cast members, met with Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath at his residence on Tuesday. During the meeting, they presented select excerpts from the film, which feature the spiritual journey of Neem Karoli Baba and passages related to Guru Gorakhnath. Chief Minister Yogi praised the film and the team's efforts, expressing his support. Vishal Chaturvedi, the director and producer of the film, shared insights after the meeting. He explained that the film portrays the story of Lakshmi Narayan Sharma, who later became known as Neem Karoli Baba, embarking on a quest for God after losing his mother in childhood. This journey leads him to connect with the saints of the Nath sect. Before taking sannyas, Neem Karoli Baba spent time with these saints. Vishal noted that the film references Guru Gorakhnath's verses, highlighting the inner journey of Neem Karoli Baba that begins during his time with the Nath sect. The film also depicts his experiences related to Kundalini awakening, attaining various siddhis, and the sounds of birds. Vishal emphasized that since Chief Minister Yogi comes from a saintly tradition, the team showcased segments of the film that connect deeply with Indian civilization and spiritual heritage. Shobhinav Satya, who plays Neem Karoli Baba, described the meeting with the Chief Minister as a pleasant experience, expressing gratitude for his blessings. Chaturvedi remarked on the vast potential for film production in Uttar Pradesh. He noted that, in addition to the film city being developed in Noida, there are excellent shooting locations in Varanasi, Chitrakoot, Mathura, Vrindavan, Prayagraj, and Agra. His production house is registered in Uttar Pradesh, and most of the cast members hail from northern and central India. Originally from Jhansi, Vishal completed his education in Gorakhpur, while his family resides in Lucknow. Both Shobhinav Satya and Purnima Tiwari, who plays his wife in the film, are also from Lucknow, as is producer Ragini Sona. Vishal mentioned plans to create more films centered around themes connected to Uttar Pradesh. The stories and dialects of Uttar Pradesh films are gaining traction even in South India. The team plans to conduct talent hunts in various cities across the state for upcoming projects, offering opportunities to theater artists as well. The goal is to connect local artists with film production and provide them with more chances to showcase their talents. Like this: Like Loading…
