More than 70 traffic stops made during ISP's Labor Day Dangerous Driving Blitz

(WSBT photo) Indiana State Police conducted a Dangerous Driving Labor Day Blitz operation to crack down on speeding, impaired and aggressive driving over the holiday weekend. Officials say their efforts resulted in a total of 77 traffic stops along the Toll Road. Those stops resulted in 76 citations, 46 of which were for speeding violations. Troopers also recorded: 3 police chases 6 reckless driving arrests 4 Operating While Intoxicated arrests 24 criminal arrests 7 felony arrests 6 crashes Officials also responded to 27 service calls for instances such as flat tires, vehicles that ran out of gas, and other road issues.
