Little National Hotel opens on North Terrace with an exclusive rooftop bar, wellness centre and 360° views

Images: Little National Hotel Adelaide's newest city accommodation offering has officially opened on North Terrace, with DOMA Group debuting Little National Hotel in Adelaide. Primely positioned along North Terrace, the hotel is just moments away from Adelaide Convention Centre, the Art Gallery of South Australia and Adelaide Oval. The hotel is the fourth Little National Hotel property in Australia and introduces the brand's first-ever penthouse offerings, each complete with a fully stocked bar showcasing premium South Australian wines. DOMA has once again worked with architectural studio Bates Smart and interior designers Luchetti Krelle to create a stylish and welcoming hotel. The property includes a fully equipped Technogym wellness centre overlooking North Terrace, along with meeting rooms designed for conferences and seminars. One of the hotel's highlights will be its rooftop bar, designed by Luchetti Krelle and exclusive to guests. The bar will offer 360-degree views of the Adelaide Hills, Parklands and coastline, with light meals, tapas and large north-facing windows showcasing the city. Little National Hotel Adelaide General Manager Malakai Yeomans said the experience starts from the street. The building's base features polished concrete, made with a specially selected mix of materials developed with local precast manufacturer Bianco, giving the hotel a solid, crafted presence before guests even step inside. 'The arrival experience is deliberately elevated to a five-star standard: a calm, beautifully finished interior with a self check-in kiosk set into a natural marble benchtop, so you're in your room within minutes rather than queuing at a desk,' Malakai said. The rooms do most of the talking, with wall-to-wall windows, super king beds and natural timber and stone accents that Little National is known for. 'The reward for that efficiency is a rooftop bar, lounge and library on the top of the building that belongs entirely to our guests.' The heroes of the hotel are the penthouse offerings, which have been on the books for some time now. There are a total of two, with one equalling the size of five standard Little National rooms. 'They sit just below the rooftop, so the views are extraordinary.' The brand thought that Adelaide's event calendar justified the first-time offering, with major activations like Gather Round and the Fringe. 'There's a constant flow of special moments, and we wanted rooms that could cater for those occasions, whether that's a celebration, a family milestone or hosting an important client. 'Adelaide is also our largest and most complete Little National, with signature rooms through to family suites and Luxe Apartments, so penthouses were the natural top of that range.' Exclusive to hotel guests, the rooftop bar offers 360-degree views and is what Malakai is most excited for, specifically the many golden hours to come. 'I've been part of Little National since the very first hotel in Canberra, and no view across our portfolio compares to this one. Alongside the wine list are their signature LN mini-cocktails and a selection of lounge nibbles that lean on South Australian producers.
