BRIDGEPORT, W.Va (WDTV) - The Almost Heaven LEGO Bash is returning to Bridgeport with world-class Professional and Master LEGO builders, fresh activities, and plenty of brick-building.
The event will be held the weekend of September 25 and 26 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at The Bridge Sports Complex.
This year's featured lineup includes prominent artists from the hit TV show LEGO Masters, including Krista Kay, a Pittsburgh-based custom LEGO artist and Season 5 contestant. Kay, who works closely with the local maker community and Carnegie Mellon University, will display her custom creations and host puzzle games.
Also featured is Mark Lorah, a structural engineer who uses LEGO bricks as an extension of his real-life design practice. Lorah's displays will include his U.S. Capitol dome and life-size eagles.
Admission is $10 per day, and children ages 5 and under are admitted free.
