FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – After most teams got their first taste of conference play last week, week four ups the ante with some match-up that will have major title implications according to Justin Kenny of Optimum Performance Sports & WANE sports director Glenn Marini in an all-new edition of 'Inside The Zone.' In the Highlight Zone 'Game of the Week' arguably the area's top two teams square off in an SAC showdown with Bishop Dwenger hosting Carroll. This game ultimately decided who won the Victory Bell last season, with Dwenger winning a nail-biter 9-6 against the Chargers to eventually bring home the conference crown. Dwenger comes into this year's match-up 3-0 on the season after defeating Wayne last Friday, while Carroll is 2-1 following a win over Concordia. After playing in the 'Game of the Week' two Fridays in a row, East Noble gets another big test in week four as the Knights host DeKalb in a key NE8 match-up. The Knights beat the Barons 21-14 last season in Waterloo on the way to their third-straight conference title. This year's match-up will be in Kendallville, where the Knights have only played once so far this season – a 19-0 season-opening win against North Side. In the NECC, up-and-coming Fremont hosts Eastside in a game that will go a long way in determining the league's small division title. The Blazers are 3-0 following last Friday's home win over Central Noble, while Fremont battled Churubusco in week three, winning 40-25 to improve to 3-0.
