In Israel, Yishai Fleisher, the international spokesperson for the Jewish community of Hebron, received 12th place on the Otzma Yehudit party list for the Knesset elections. The Jerusalem Post reports. Nomination to the list
Fleisher's inclusion on the list was announced on Monday. Otzma Yehudit leader and Israel's National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir called him a man of action and advocacy, as well as an important voice for Israel around the world.
Fleisher said that he considers working together with the Otzma Yehudit team a privilege and an opportunity to act for the benefit of the Jewish people. According to him, he seeks to strengthen the state, the Jewish people's connection to the Land of Israel, and convey this message to Jews and supporters of Israel in different countries.

Fleisher was born in Israel to parents who fled the Soviet Union. He spent nearly half his life in the United States, where he grew up. He is a member of the local council of Efrat and speaks Russian, Hebrew, and English.
Previously, Fleisher served as a paratrooper in the Israel Defense Forces and graduated from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in New York. As the international spokesperson for the Jewish community of Hebron, he represented it to visitors, journalists, officials, and delegations. His YouTube channel has more than 300,000 subscribers.
