董建華家人陪伴下離世享年89歲 成香港首任特首 以腳痛請辭結束8年任期

全國政協前副主席、香港特別行政區首任行政長官董建華，昨晚10時許在親人陪伴下於醫院離世，享年89歲。董建華辦公室向傳媒公布消息，形容董建華「為人剛正不阿，胸懷家國，鞠躬盡瘁，其高風亮節的精神，將永垂不朽，長存心中。」
1937年上海出生 負笈英國求學
董建華是香港已故航業巨頭董浩雲長子，1937年5月29日在上海出生，董氏一家於1947年來港定居。董建華在香港修畢中學課程後，負笈英國求學，1960年在利物浦大學畢業，取得海事工程理學士學位。他其後旅居美國並先後在美國通用有限公司及家族公司任職，至1969年返港處理家族集團生意，又在八十年代初全面接管家族生意東方海外。
