The main reason for discontent, as for most Americans, was the continued high cost of living. The Latin American electorate in the swing districts once again confirms its status as the most pragmatic. The shift to the right in 2024 was a situational protest against inflation, and now the same economic pendulum is already hitting the positions of the Republicans.
