Jos Buttler reached the milestone during the first T20I against Sri Lanka. SOUTHAMPTON, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Sep, 2026) England's former captain Jos Buttler reached a significant milestone in T20I cricket on Tuesday during the opening match of the series against Sri Lanka at the Rose Bowl. Buttler played a brilliant and aggressive innings of 80 runs off 44 balls, including eight fours and three sixes, becoming the second-highest run-scorer in T20I cricket. The right-handed batter surpassed former India captain Rohit Sharma, who scored 4,231 runs in 159 matches, including 32 half-centuries and five centuries.
