Eight pictures show touching tributes left in memory of three-month-old baby who died in Staffordshire

Floral tributes and heartfelt messages have been left near the scene where a three-month-old baby girl died in Staffordshire. Flowers and cuddly toys have been placed near land off Strawberry Lane, Great Wyrley, following the tragedy on Saturday, September 5. Emergency services were called to the area after receiving reports of a baby in cardiac arrest, but despite the efforts of paramedics she was pronounced dead at the scene. The tributes have continued to grow as the community comes to terms with the death. Staffordshire Police has confirmed four people – a 42-year-old man and a 30-year-old woman from South Staffordshire, a 20-year-old woman from Wolverhampton and an 18-year-old man from Walsall – were arrested on suspicion of murder. All four have since been released on conditional bail while inquiries continue, with detectives stressing that the investigation remains at an early stage and that they are keeping an open mind over the circumstances of the death.
