Zaffanella Named PL Midfielder of the Week

EASTON, Pa. – Senior midfielder Nadia Zaffanella was named the Patriot League Women's Soccer Midfielder of the Week on Monday afternoon for her play in matches versus La Salle and Drexel. The Ellington, Conn. native scored her first goal of the season in the 17 th minute against La Salle, which gave Lafayette a 1-0 advantage. Zaffanella then scored her second goal of the year in the 71 st minute, which put Lafayette in front, 2-1.
