Between challenges and moments that keep audiences hooked, with blooming connections unfolding along the way, the Philippines' first-ever queer dating reality show, 'Sparks Camp,' thrives on raw honesty and authenticity. Now in its fourth season, the show promises more campfire thrills, bold confessions, and the possibility of romance in all its messy and charming forms. Amid that whirlwind is a camper whose journey is layered with both strength and vulnerability. Built on hustle, shaped by loss, and now revealing a different side of himself in the camp's unpredictable rhythm—meet the 'Gio-Target Chinito,' Camper Gio. Adrian Gio Lopez is a 30-year-old café owner from Mandaluyong City. Raised by a single mother, he first met his father at 16—a late introduction that nonetheless blossomed into a meaningful bond despite the years they spent apart. Sadly, that connection was cut short when his father passed away earlier this year, leaving Gio to carry the lessons he learned from their relationship into this new chapter of his life. Back in college, Gio hustled hard—juggling multiple jobs, strategizing every move, and pushing through after losing financial support at home. That grind eventually paid off, and today, the 5'8' camper runs his own coffee shop. When it comes to romance, Gio describes himself as a self-aware avoidant. He admits he tends to run away from arguments when conflict arises, but now, he's eager to break that pattern. Fresh out of a decade-long relationship, he now finds himself navigating singlehood for the first time as an adult—almost like being 19 all over again. Gio believes he can separate love from physical intimacy, but this time, he wants to show that he can stay true to one person. Naturally confident when pursuing someone, Gio admits that the real struggle begins when rejection enters the picture—a challenge we'll see him face as he joins 'Sparks Camp.' Watch the Gio-Target Chinito bring his own flavor to the mix on 'Sparks Camp' Season 4, streaming on iWant this September 16.
