Obituary: Dorothy Ann Holder

Dorothy Ann Holder, 85 of Imboden, passed from this life September 6, 2026 at Flo & Phil Hospice House in Jonesboro. She was born on July 15, 1941 to the late Frank V. and Linda Odell (Perry) Hunnicutt in Chicago, Illinois. Dorothy was united in marriage to Fred Gene Holder on November, 7, 1957 in Ravenden. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Ravenden. Dorothy loved her family dearly and cherished the time she spent with them. She was a devoted homemaker who took great pride in caring for her family and creating a loving home. When she wasn't quilting, one of her favorite pastimes was going shopping with her girls. She was a longtime member of the EHC Club and was proud to be part of the organization for several years. Dorothy also dedicated 15 years of service to Pro Group, where she worked as an inspector. In addition to her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband; 6 brothers; 4 sisters; and a granddaughter, Jessica Draper. She is survived by her son, Danny (Margaret) Holder; daughters, Pam (Chuck) Ludwig, and Sharon (Gary) Rasmussen, all of Imboden; grandchildren, Spencer Holder, Devin Draper; one great grandchild, Winry Draper; and a host of other family members and friends. Graveside services will be Thursday, September 10, 2026 at 10:30 A.M. at Opposition Cemetery in Ravenden. All arrangements are under the direction of Cox Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital. Family will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are Danny Holder, Gary Rasmussen, Chuck Ludwig, and Devin Draper. Related
