JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Rain chances are highest this morning near the Atlantic coast, where a front is stalling and onshore winds are picking up out of the northeast. As the day goes on, expect the rain to spread further inland — from east to west — through the afternoon hours. Temperatures will stay on the cooler side today, with highs only reaching the low to mid-80s for areas near and east of I-95 and the St. Johns River. Farther inland, highs could climb into the mid to upper 80s. Flooding is the main concern The biggest weather hazard today is localized flooding, particularly along the coast and inland across northeast Florida.
