The start of the 2026 NFL regular season is on Wednesday. Yes, Wednesday, with a Thursday game in Australia. Heading into Week 1 versus the Jacksonville Jaguars, the overall sense about the Cleveland Browns is negative for now and excited for the future. The Browns young roster has been given high accolades after two very good draft classes by GM Andrew Berry.
There is still much to be proven on the field, but Cleveland's decision to draft two receivers early in the 2026 NFL draft has fans excited about the offense being explosive for the first time in a long time. KC Concepcion and Denzel Boston have done little to calm the excitement around them, as training camp and preseason has seen both making big plays.
AFC scout: 'The definition of an NFL X receiver. A perfect complement with KC Concepcion.'
NFC executive: 'Huge, talented, and makes it look easy when clean. Preseason best play certainly flashed of a better player than (only) a rebounder.'
Adding the two young receivers to a group that saw RB Quinshon Judkins and TE Harold Fannin Jr. have great rookie seasons last year only adds to the hype and excitement about what could be in the future for the orange and brown.
Now, Browns quarterbacks need to get Boston and Concepcion the ball and HC Todd Monken has to put everyone in position to be successful.
