The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has announced that commercial plots in LDA City Business Bay and LDA Avenue One will be included in its upcoming property draw. Interested applicants have until September 2 to submit their applications.
The announcement provides investors and buyers with another opportunity to apply for commercial property in some of LDA's major development schemes in Lahore.
The decision was made during a meeting chaired by LDA Director General Tahir Farooq, where officials reviewed a range of matters related to property development, including budget planning, town planning, auctions, engineering projects and ongoing development work across various LDA schemes.
According to the details discussed during the meeting, the upcoming draw will include commercial plots in LDA City Business Bay and LDA Avenue One.
The draw will also feature 5-marla residential plots in Johar Town, expanding the range of property options available to applicants.
The LDA Auctions Directorate also briefed the meeting on the applications received so far for the upcoming draw.
During the meeting, the Finance Directorate presented proposed budget allocations for the upcoming financial year.
Officials identified LDA City as a development priority for the current financial year. The director general directed the relevant departments to accelerate ongoing development activities in the scheme.
The authority also reviewed plans to improve municipal services in LDA Avenue One, Jubilee Town and LDA Enclave Scheme. Officials were instructed to develop a governance model aimed at improving the management and delivery of basic services in these areas.
The LDA also discussed measures to strengthen enforcement against illegal construction and unauthorised commercialisation across Lahore.
The Town Planning Wing was directed to increase enforcement activities and ensure greater compliance with planning regulations. Officials were also instructed to follow standard operating procedures for construction-related activities during the monsoon season.
The authority further plans to initiate development work on additional schemes under its Sustainable Development Model during the current financial year.
The measures discussed during the meeting highlight the LDA's focus on both expanding property opportunities and improving infrastructure and municipal services within its existing schemes.
Applicants interested in the upcoming commercial plot draw should verify the latest application requirements, eligibility criteria and deadline through official LDA channels before submitting their applications by September 2.
