GREENCASTLE — An inspection of a commercial motor vehicle yielded more than 250 pounds of cocaine with an estimated street value of $3.8 million, authorities said. According to a news release from the Indiana State Police, on Sunday a member of its Criminal Interdiction Unit conducted a traffic stop on a commercial motor vehicle traveling eastbound on Interstate 70 in Putnam County for an inspection. The driver, Harpreet Singh of Greenwood, said he was transporting an empty trailer from Memphis, Tennessee to Indianapolis.
