Notification of new school timing issued

LAHORE - Notification of new working hours of schools from August 24 has been issued. According to the School Education Department, single shift schools will start at 8 am, while it will work till 1:30 pm.However, on Friday, single shift schools will start at 12:45 pm. Double shift schools will start from 8 am to 12 pm. School hours in the second shift will be from 2 pm to 5:30 pm. Meanwhile girls' schools will start 15 minutes before boys' schools, and holiday will also be 15 minutes before. Saturdays will remain holidays in government schools.
