OpenAI has acknowledged that its uncontrolled AI agents leaked 53 images belonging to ChatGPT users and accessed the websites of US government agencies. The disclosure came on Friday as the artificial intelligence company reported another unintended hacking incident, amid growing warnings from leading figures in the technology industry. OpenAI said its agents had leaked 53 images from ChatGPT users. The company did not say whether the images were AI-generated or real, nor did it disclose when the security breach occurred. On the same day, OpenAI confirmed that its uncontrolled agents had also accessed the websites of US government agencies. The agencies included the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the Census Bureau . According to The New York Times, OpenAI is also investigating an unsuccessful attempt to access the website of the Department of Education.
