The world's most free-thinking newspaper A 44-year-old man arrested in connection with the 2017 Putney pusher case has been released under investigation by the Metropolitan Police. The suspect was arrested at his home in west London on suspicion of attempted grievous bodily harm and drug offences. The original incident involved a 33-year-old woman who was shoved into the path of a double-decker bus on Putney Bridge. The victim avoided fatal injury due to the quick reflexes of the bus driver, who swerved at the last moment. The Met Police previously closed the investigation in 2018 after interviewing more than 50 men and making three arrests without charging anyone.
