I'm the daughter of Korean immigrants – my mother a nurse and my father a Vietnam War veteran – who taught me the values of hard work, personal responsibility, and service. I graduated from UCLA with a Mathematics degree and spent ten years in financial and wealth management services. ​I'm a proud parent of Cypress school graduates, my daughter is an aerospace engineer and my son attends Cypress College. 6.How do you plan to contact voters in your district? 7.What are the top three attributes of the city that make you proud to be a resident? 8.Why did you decide to run for city council? Ran unsuccessfully for city council office in 2022 9.Prior to being elected or appointed to city council have you ever run for and/or been elected to any other office? Fortunately, the City of Cypress has been run very well and is financially stable. What is your approach to balancing services to the community against limited financial resources? Helen Le provided the following statement during her public comments at the racecourse EIR public hearing on August 28, 2026, 'Let's take another opportunity to look at other housing opportunities such as the business park on the other side of Valley View now that we have new information with Yamaha.' 29.Cypress's RHNA plan requires the city to plan for the future development of 1,803 units in the Low and Very Low-Income areas.
