The New England Patriots have to feel like they have a real shot at a Super Bowl this season if everything goes as planned. As everyone keeps pointing out, there are some interesting things to look at for New England, including its schedule. As the Patriots have continued to improve on both sides of the ball this offseason, there's certainly a path to get even better. One way to do that is to add to the defensive side of the ball, something head coach Mike Vrabel has focused on. A trade for a defensive player would be a big plus, with Kayvon Thibodeaux being floated as an option throughout parts of the offseason. Bleacher Report recently pitched a trade that would see New England accomplish just that. A second-round pick in return for Thibodeaux should interest the New York Giants as well, making this a move that could make a lot of sense for both sides.
