CM Afridi to launch Street Movement in Sindh from Sept 3: Shafi Jan

Peshawar - Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Information, Science, Technology and Information Technology Shafi Jan has said that a consultative meeting was held regarding Chief Minister Sohail Afridi's and other party leaders' visit to Sindh as part of the Street Movement, during which the schedule and future course of action were finalized. The meeting was attended by Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Sohail Afridi, Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan, Secretary General Salman Akram Raja and other central and provincial leaders. Election awareness session held for persons with disabilities Shafi Jan said Chief Minister Afridi and other party leaders would undertake a five-day visit to Sindh from September 3 to 7 as part of the Street Movement. The party leadership would commence the visit from Kamo Shaheed in Ghotki. He said Street Movement activities would be held at various locations across Sindh from September 3 to 6. Chief Minister Sohail Afridi and other party leaders would also address public gatherings at different locations during the visit. The KP Info Minister said the Sindh Street Movement would culminate in Karachi on September 6. On September 7, Chief Minister Sohail Afridi and the central party leadership would address a Lawyers' Convention at the Sindh High Court Bar, organized by the Sindh High Court Bar Association. KP minister welcomes dismissal of contempt petitions by ATC Shafi Jan said that following Sindh, the party leadership would also turn its attention to Punjab and Balochistan, further expanding the nationwide public outreach campaign. He said that, following the directions of founding chairman Imran Khan, Chief Minister Sohail Afridi had successfully led the Street Movement in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The visit to Sindh, he added, would further organize and strengthen the party's public struggle and give it greater momentum. The minister said the nationwide Street Movement would mark a significant milestone in the struggle for the release of Imran Khan and the supremacy of the Constitution and the rule of law in the country.
