PM, CDF attend funeral prayer for martyred pilots

Namaz-e-Janaza of Major Husnain Shehzad Humayun Shaheed and Captain Abdul Samad Shaheed, who embraced Shahadat on Monday (12 October 2026) in a tragic Mushak training aircraft crash near Nawan Killi, Quetta, was offered on Tuesday at Chaklala Garrison. The funeral prayers were attended by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, NI (M), HJ, COAS & CDF, Deputy Prime Minster and Foreign Minister, Minister of Information and Broadcasting, Commander National Strategic Command, senior civil, military officials and relatives of the Shuhada, said a news release issued by Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR). The Armed Forces of Pakistan and the entire nation pay solemn tribute to the supreme sacrifice of these two brave officers. Their courage, dedication, and unwavering commitment to the motherland remain a source of enduring pride. Shuhada will be laid to rest in their respective native towns with full military honours, it further said.
