Scoring a hat-trick on debut against Man City is certainly one way for Louie Bradbury to make Man Utd regret his departure. Among all the exits from the academy at Man Utd this summer – and there were plenty – not many would point at Louie Bradbury. Bradbury rarely even played for the U21s, but he did score freely for the U18s despite having the likes of Chido Obi ahead of him in the pecking order. At 17, he finally made the decision to move on this summer, joining Stoke City, and announced himself in style. Who will be worth the most in the future? Who should have got a first team chance? What do you think of the poor fees received? Getty Images Louie Bradbury scores debut hat-trick vs Man City Just hours after leaving Man Utd officially, Bradbury was in Stoke City's U18s team right away. In a poetic twist of fate, he faced United's rivals Man City in a crazy game that finished 8-5 to the Cityzens. Bradbury lives to score goals, and he scored three of them in the loss. Remarkably, he was one of three players to score a hat-trick in this insane game. More United News Still, that doesn't take away from his accomplishment, as he was playing in a new environment, with new players for the first time. His game is not reliant on explosiveness or pace, but he has a knack for poaching and scoring the 'ugly' goals that the likes of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Ruud van Nistelrooy built their careers on. If his debut for Stoke City is any indication, then a senior debut before the end of the season is not off the cards. That will vindicate his decision to bet on himself and leave Old Trafford this summer. Man Utd did not have a pathway for Bradbury Clearly, with the likes of Ethan Wheatley still at the club, and Obi going on loan to Willem II, Bradbury saw his pathway to the senior team blocked. Man Utd would be in a stronger position if Ten Hag or Amorim had the guys to truly believe in the club's academy, one fan has claimed Do you believe Michael Carrick's United will make the most of the young talent? Who will break through this season? Getty Images Instead of getting stuck in the loan purgatory forever, the hitman chose to bet on himself and find a new permanent home at just 17. If he has a Championship debut for Stoke City to his name before the end of the season, it will be an inspired move. Scoring goals is the most important skill in football, and Bradbury seems to have that in spades, which bodes well for his prospects. He remains a player to watch out for because he might age as the academy exit Man Utd regret the most in a few years' time.
