Aontú records its highest level of support in latest opinion poll

Aontú has recorded its highest level of support in a national opinion poll, rising to 8% in the latest Sunday Independent/Ireland Thinks survey. Sinn Féin is back in top spot at 21%, followed by Fine Gael on 19%, and Fianna Fáil on 17%. The poll also measures public satisfaction with the leaders of the main political parties, with Holly Cairns of the Social Democrats leading on 40 %, followed by Micheál Martin on 37%.
