Editor: (Re: ' Make your voice heard on vaccination guidelines , ' Sept. 5, Aspen Daily News) Dr. Chansky couldn't have said it better in her recent letter. I, too, am a physician, board certified in immunology, allergy and internal medicine. I am 82 years old, and like Dr. Chansky's uncle, I contracted polio in 1952, two years before Jonas Salk's introduction of the first polio vaccine. It has been a struggle, but I didn't let it stop me from becoming a doctor specializing in the study of vaccines and other areas of medicine.
