Says Wendell Berry will live on through his legacy of words

Dear Editor: Recently, we lost a very important voice known to many of us as Wendell Berry. For those of us who value our rural lifestyle, resent intrusions of noise, air pollution, extra traffic, we find a fellow friend in this farmer/author who wrote so eloquently about the land. Reading his books about ordinary people he knew, his sense of civility, i got the feeling he knew us. His special feelings about the way we treat the earth and each other contrasts with much of the ways of large businesses and most of our political leaders.
