MAY COLUMN: Blessed are those who do dwell

For the month of September, we are going to focus our thoughts on the refreshing words found in Psalm 84. There is something about music that renews and encourages us from the heat and turmoil of life. There is symbolic significance found in the refreshment of autumn rain that softens and energizes the parched land. Before we consider a couple of phrases in Psalm 84, we need to spend a little time on some concepts found in the psalm's header. The Sons of Korah hold a significant place in the psalms and biblical history. They are a group of men from the tribe of Levi who were known for their musical talent. They are credited with writing eleven of the Psalms.
