[Opinion] Compulsory School Uniform to Combat the Phenomenon of "Bullying". What Does the Draft Law Submitted by PSD Provide

The school uniform could become mandatory if a bill tabled in Parliament is adopted. Initiators argue that all students must be dressed the same, in order to reduce the phenomenon of bullying and propose that uniforms be settled by the state. A major change could take place in schools in Romania. Students could be required to wear uniform, if a bill tabled in Parliament by PSD parliamentarians is adopted. Initiators argue that the measure could contribute to reducing the phenomenon of bullying, but also to narrowing the differences... A legislative initiative providing for the reintroduction of single and compulsory school uniforms in State education units received a new favourable opinion in the Romanian Senate.
