Letters: Edmonton's police commission out of touch

So, the Edmonton Police Commission has unilaterally decided to bar the public from speaking at their meetings for the remainder of the year. What has become abundantly clear how out of touch this commission has been and the loss of the public's trust. The only honourable thing they can do now is for all of them to tender their resignations and apologize for their incompetence. NELSON CABRAL (Closing meetings to the public is not democracy.) Word on social media is Mark Carney will be ramping up the WAR on the USA and will rename Lake Erie and call it The Straight of Our Moose. Cant wait for Carney's tariffs to kick in so Canadians can pay more tax to the feds. KEVIN KELLER (Unless Canadian producers can fill the gap, which is unlikely, tariffs will hurt consumers more.) From 1976 to 1981 I was a cadet and an instructor at Vernon Army Cadet Camp. We had exchange USMC personnel from their JROTC program. Their skills, dress, deportment and physical fitness were exemplary. However, these people were hand picked. I am fairly certain you'd find obese personnel in any of the JROTC programs.
